Iraqi-Egyptian cooperation in the Library management system

The Egyptian press is represented by the largest Egyptian newspaper that publishes the news of the visit of the Iraqi delegation to the International Center for Libraries and the fruitful cooperation between the Association of information Specialists Iraqi libraries and documentation, headed by Prof. Dr. Al-Bayati and the International Centre for Libraries and information centres.

The International Centre for Libraries and information centres headed by Dr. Yasmeen Shaaban has set up three training courses: Advanced training course in the Library Management system and training course on new applications in automated catalogues and a training course on the system of MySpace.
Dr Yasmeen Shaaban said that Egypt is ready to present and transfer its expertise, harness all Egyptian potential for development in Iraq and promote and agree on projects to be implemented.
On the sidelines of the book fair, the Iraqi information, library and Documentation Specialist Association, headed by Prof. Dr. Al-Bayati, participated in those sessions.
Dr. Returnee Mustafa, professor of Library science, University of Baghdad, expressed her aspiration to promote cooperation between the two sides and exchange experiences, stressing the Iraqi concern to give Egyptian companies priority to implement projects and training programs.
